Nor67 Booking Terms and Conditions
We’re delighted you’ve chosen to stay with Nor67. These terms are here to keep everything clear and fair, so you can relax and enjoy your time by the lake.
Simple, clear terms designed to protect both our guests and the property.
1. Booking & Payment
• A 33% deposit is required to secure your booking. • The remaining balance is due 12 weeks before arrival. • Bookings made within 12 weeks of arrival require full payment at the time of booking. • A refundable £1,500 security deposit or pre-authorisation hold is required before arrival. Bookings are confirmed only once written confirmation has been issued and cleared funds have been received.
2. Guest Numbers
The maximum number of guests staying at the property must not exceed the number confirmed at booking. NOR67 accommodates a maximum of 16 guests unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unauthorised guests or visitors are not permitted without prior agreement.
3. The Nature of the Stay
NOR67 is designed as a peaceful private retreat. The property is suitable for relaxed gatherings and celebrations, but not for party-style stays. Any event, wedding, commercial activity or non-standard use must be agreed in writing before booking. We reserve the right to decline bookings that do not align with the nature of the property.
4. Noise & Respect for the Estate
• Quiet hours are between 10pm and 9am. • No outdoor music is permitted. • Indoor music should remain at a respectful level. • External sound systems and DJ equipment are not permitted.
Guests must respect neighbouring properties, wildlife and the peaceful nature of the estate.
5. What’s Included
Electricity, heating, water, Wi‑Fi, bed linen, towels and a starter supply of essentials are included. Amenities such as hot tubs, Wi‑Fi and air conditioning are maintained carefully but cannot be guaranteed in the event of outages, maintenance issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
6. Arrival & Departure
• Check-in: 4pm • Check-out: 10am • Sunday late check-out may be available where agreed. Self check-in details will usually be shared shortly before arrival. Late check-ins or departures may be available by prior arrangement and may incur additional charges. Late departures may incur additional charges if they delay cleaning or impact incoming guests.
7. Property Care
Guests are expected to treat the property with care and leave it in a clean and tidy condition. Guests are responsible for: • Damage caused during the stay • Excessive cleaning requirements • Missing items or breakages beyond normal wear and tear Reasonable repair, replacement or cleaning costs may be deducted from the security deposit.
8. Decorations & Celebrations
Celebrations are welcome, provided the property is treated respectfully. • No glitter or confetti (including biodegradable) • No decorations attached to walls, woodwork or ceilings • No candles, fireworks or Chinese lanterns without prior agreement Free-standing decorations only.
9. Suppliers & Catering
External caterers, wellness providers or other suppliers must be approved in advance. We may request proof of insurance before approval is given.
10. Estate & Lake Safety
The lake is a protected natural habitat and is not for recreational use. The following are not permitted: • Swimming • Boating • Fishing • Climbing on log stacks • BBQs or open flames due to fire risk Children must be supervised at all times near the lake and surrounding woodland.
11. Pets & Smoking
• Pets are not permitted unless agreed in writing. • Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the property.
12. Complaints During Your Stay
If something is not right during your stay, please notify us as soon as possible so we have the opportunity to resolve it.
13. Cancellations & Insurance
Payments are non-refundable unless the cancelled dates are successfully re-let. If the balance payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain any deposit paid. We strongly recommend guests take out suitable travel and cancellation insurance.
14. Utilities & Maintenance
Occasionally, maintenance, emergency repairs or hot tub servicing may require access to the property during your stay. Wherever possible, we will provide notice in advance. We are not liable for temporary interruptions to utilities, broadband or amenities where caused by factors outside our reasonable control.
15. Liability
Guests use the property and estate facilities at their own risk. NOR67 and the property owners cannot accept responsibility for: • Loss or damage to personal belongings • Injuries arising from misuse of the property or grounds • Events outside reasonable control which prevent or interrupt a stay Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
16. Lost Property
We are happy to return items left behind where possible. Postage and handling costs may apply.
17. CCTV
CCTV operates at the entrance gate and car park only for security purposes.
18. Right to Refuse or Terminate a Stay
We reserve the right to refuse access to, or terminate, a booking where: • House rules are breached • Guest behaviour is unsafe or unreasonable • Excessive noise or disturbance occurs • Unauthorised events or additional guests are discovered In serious cases, guests may be required to leave without refund.
19. General
These terms are governed by English law. By confirming a booking, guests agree to these Terms & Conditions together with the NOR67 Guest Guidelines.
