NOR67 Accessibility Statement

At NOR67, we welcome all guests to enjoy the calm of our lake, woodland, and dark skies. Because of our rare natural setting and the design of Witley Park House and the Woodland Cabins, there are some physical limitations. We share them here openly so everyone can plan with confidence.

General Setting 

- NOR67 is set within woodland and beside an unfenced natural lake.

- Paths and access areas may be uneven, with gravel, grass, or woodland surfaces.

- Outdoor lighting is minimal to protect our rare dark-sky environment, which makes navigation at night more challenging.

Witley Park House 

- There is space for a car to park close to the house, and a wheelchair user can be taken around to the rear of the property to access certain functions or events.

- The property is spread over multiple levels with stairs and there is no lift.

- Bedrooms and bathrooms are not step-free, and we do not have a wheelchair-accessible toilet.

- Door widths are standard residential size and not widened for wheelchair access.

Woodland Cabins 

- The cabins are set within woodland, designed to feel completely immersed in nature.

- To preserve the unspoilt setting and minimise interference with the environment, cars cannot be parked directly at the cabins.

- Guests walk along rustic woodland paths, which are beautiful but uneven and therefore unsuitable for wheelchair access at present.

- Internal layouts are single-level, but each has a step at the entrance.

- Toilets and bathrooms in the cabins are not wheelchair-adapted.

Parking & Access 

- Parking is available close to Witley Park House.

- Parking for cabins is at a distance, with access via uneven woodland paths.

Bathrooms 

- Bathrooms in both the house and cabins are standard.

- None are equipped with grab rails or adapted fixtures.

Additional Considerations 

- The lake is unfenced — children and vulnerable adults must be supervised at all times.

- Hot tubs require stepping in and out and may not be suitable for all guests.

- Pets are not permitted due to the sensitive wildlife.
