NOR67 Accessibility Statement

At Nor67, we welcome all guests to enjoy the calm of our lake, woodland, and dark skies. Because of our rare natural setting and the design of Witley Park House and the Woodland Cabins, there are some physical limitations. We share these openly so guests can plan their stay with confidence.

General Setting

  • Nor67 is set within woodland and beside an unfenced natural lake.

  • Paths and access areas may be uneven, with gravel, grass, or woodland surfaces.

  • Outdoor lighting is intentionally minimal to protect our dark-sky environment, which may make navigation at night more challenging.

Witley Park House

  • There is space for a car to park close to the house. Where required, a wheelchair user can be taken around to the rear of the property to access certain ground-floor functions or events.

  • The house is arranged over multiple levels, with internal stairs and no lift.

  • Once inside the house, there is a ground-floor WC which is step-free to access.

  • Bedrooms and bathrooms are not fully step-free, and the property does not have a fully wheelchair-adapted bathroom.

  • Door widths are standard residential size and are not widened for wheelchair access.

Woodland Cabins

  • The cabins are set within woodland and are designed to feel fully immersed in nature.

  • To preserve the unspoilt setting and minimise environmental impact, cars cannot be parked directly at the cabins.

  • Guests access the cabins via rustic woodland paths, which are uneven and therefore unsuitable for wheelchair access at present.

  • Cabin interiors are single-level, but each has a step at the entrance.

  • Toilets and bathrooms within the cabins are not wheelchair-adapted.

Parking & Access

  • Parking is available close to Witley Park House.

  • Parking for the cabins is located at a distance, with access via uneven woodland paths.

Bathrooms

  • Bathrooms in both the house and cabins are of standard design.

  • None are equipped with grab rails or adapted fixtures.

Additional Considerations

  • The lake is unfenced — children and vulnerable adults must be supervised at all times.

  • Hot tubs require stepping in and out and may not be suitable for all guests.

  • Pets are not permitted due to the presence of sensitive wildlife.
